The Ellora-Ajanta Dance Festival is a three-day event that takes place in the historical 17th century monument Soneri Mahal in Aurangabad. The festival celebrates the culture, architecture and monuments in the district, of which there are many, such as the Ajanta and Ellora caves, from which it draws its name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival<\/a> typically includes a host of events including kathak and odissi dance performances, instrumentals, plays. Organised by the District Administration of Aurangabad under Directorate of Tourism Maharashtra<\/a>, entry to the festival is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
