Launched in 2021, Jharna is Bharata Kalanjali\u2019s<\/a> annual festival dedicated to showcasing emerging Bharatanatyam dancers. Now in its fourth edition, the festival continues to provide a professional platform for young artists to present original works that blend tradition with innovation.<\/p>\n

As a pioneer institution with over five decades of excellence in Bharatanatyam, Bharata Kalanjali continues its mission of nurturing and celebrating the spirit of art through Jharna. This festival has evolved into a significant platform that highlights the exceptional artistry of emerging talent while honouring the depth and innovation of the classical dance form.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition<\/a> will spotlight six talented artists selected from more than 60 applicants, premiering fresh interpretations of Bharatanatyam. Additionally, performances by distinguished guest artists will enrich the festival\u2019s offerings.<\/p>\n
