The Government of Rajasthan\u2019s Department of Tourism, established in 1966, showcases the natural and cultural heritage of the state. As part of its efforts to promote inclusive and alternative tourism, the Department of Tourism has undertaken a collaborative initiative with UNESCO to strengthen the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Rajasthan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Festivals celebrating its ICH will be held at nine rural locations across western Rajasthan from September through to November 2022 to give tourists an immersive cultural experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
