    Anand Utsav 2026 is a curated celebration of Indian classical dance and music, bringing together young artists, rigorous training, live accompaniment and the guidance of esteemed Gurus. Presented by Sangeet Vidya Niketan, the festival creates a space for emerging practitioners to share their artistry while honouring the traditions and disciplines that shape India’s classical performing arts.

    The 2026 edition features young artists in Hindustani vocal, Kathak, Odissi and Bharatanatyam, presented in an evening that brings together diverse classical forms through a shared spirit of discipline, devotion and performance.

    Held at the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, Mandi House, New Delhi, Anand Utsav offers audiences an opportunity to experience Indian classical traditions through the next generation of performers and celebrate their continued evolution as living art forms.

    How to Reach Delhi

    1. By Air: Delhi is well connected by domestic and international flights to all the major cities within and outside India. Almost all the major airlines have their flights operating from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The Domestic Airport connects Delhi to the major cities in India.

    2. By Rail: The railway network connects Delhi to all major and nearly all the minor destinations in India. The three important railway stations of Delhi are New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

    3. By Road: Delhi is well connected by a network of roads and national highways with all the major cities in India. The three major bus stands in Delhi are Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminus and Anand Vihar Bus Terminus.     Sangeet Vidya Niketan, founded by Madhur Gupta through its efforts, hopes to bring the art of Indian classical dance and music into the core everyday life of those initiated and uninitiated, aims at providing a creative oasis in this cluttered technologically overdone day and age. This music and dance school aims to provide high quality training in dance and music under seasoned teachers, introduce young and curious minds to Indian culture through dance and music, restore dance and music to its respected and highly crucial part of our society, hold regular master classes under senior maestros for a well expanded understanding of different Banis also known as styles or Gharanas of dance and music, and to provide an infrastructure to dancers and musicians to collaborate and create works of art. The word Sangeet is the culmination or combination of Gayan, Vadan, & Nritya or what is commonly known as Vocal music, Instrumental music and Dance.
