Eklavya School Bengaluru, an institution founded on the pillars of values and experiential learning, will host the *Artzopia Eklavya Festival* on March 8 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at its campus. Designed for young children and their families, the festival aims to create an immersive creative journey where expression takes centre stage and learning unfolds through hands-on exploration. The school campus will transform into a vibrant space filled with colours, sounds and stories. One of the key highlights will be Messy Art, facilitated by Eklavya educators, where children are encouraged to paint freely using their hands, feet and even their whole bodies—celebrating uninhibited creativity and self-expression. Music will also play a central role in the festival. Danish Husain from Bangalore Flash Jam will conduct a one-hour community choir workshop that brings children and parents together in a shared singing experience. Theatre enthusiasts can look forward to engaging performances by Goshtarang, introducing young audiences to the magic of live storytelling through specially curated plays. The festival will also celebrate traditional and hands-on art forms. Anjali from Studio Tvastra will guide children through activities inspired by Gond Art, offering an early introduction to Indian folk art. Flower pounding art using leaves and plants, along with wet-on-wet painting inspired by Waldorf education, will allow children to experience colour and texture in new ways. Additional workshops include pottery sessions by Dhanya Verghese of Passionfruit Pottery, origami sessions by Pooja Ugrani, and storytelling and music workshops led by Ria from Sparklesound. The festival will also feature curated screenings by the Parallel Film Club, presenting meaningful short films for children followed by reflective activities that nurture language, creativity and cognitive development.
