Celebrated around World Environment Day, which falls on 05 June, Bhoomi Habba - The Earth Festival seeks to increase public awareness of the environmental crises faced by its host city of Bengaluru, and showcase inclusive and sustainable alternatives. Held at organiser Visthar’s green campus, it celebrates people and ways of living that care for our earth and honours individuals and collectives who live gently and resist its destruction.
The day-long activities and attractions at Bhoomi Habba - The Earth Festival include art and photography exhibitions, documentary screenings, nature walks, workshops, dance, music and theatre performances. There are also stalls selling traditional food and organic produce and eco-friendly, recycled and up-cycled beauty, fashion, home and children’s products.
