Dramebaazi – International Arts Festival for the Young is a multi-arts festival organised by The Creative Arts Academy. Launched in 2018, the festival is designed as a platform for young audiences to engage with a range of art forms through interactive and participatory formats.
The most recent editions have featured a line-up of workshops, performances, discussions, and film screenings, led by artists, educators, cultural organisations, and creative entrepreneurs. Programming spans theatre, dance, music, storytelling, visual arts, crafts, and food-based sessions, with an emphasis on introducing diverse practices to children and young participants.
In addition to the core programme, the festival includes curated flea markets that highlight environmentally conscious and handmade products, along with spaces that encourage interaction between parents, teachers, and children. A key aspect of Dramebaazi is the involvement of youth interns from the academy, who contribute to the planning and execution of the festival across areas such as programming, design, and communications.
Structured as an in-person, multi-format event, Dramebaazi – International Arts Festival for the Young focuses on arts education, skill-building, and community engagement through creative participation.
