Organised by The Embassy of France and the French Institute in India, the first edition of the French Film Festival is a two-week long celebration of "Women in Cinema" through screenings of films directed by five French women filmmakers. C'est ça l'amour (Real Love) by Claire Burger, Atlantique (Atlantics) by Mati Diop, Une Jeune Fille Qui Va Bien (A Radiant Girl) by Sandrine Kiberlain, La Traversée (The Crossing) by Florence Miailhe and Sous le ciel d'Alice (Skies of Lebanon) by Chloe Mazlo will be showcased at the festival. With an impressive selection of both established and up-and-coming directors, the French Film Festival aims to showcase the diverse and talented voices of women in the film industry. From thought-provoking documentaries to heart-wrenching dramas, the line-up includes a wide range of genres and styles. Besides the film screenings, the festival also hosts panel discussions and Q&A sessions. This year, Chloé Mazlo will be presenting her film, Skies of Lebanon on 23 Jan 2023. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the French-Lebanese filmmaker. The French Film Festival is a culmination of sustained efforts at inter-cultural dialogues and is part of the French Embassy's efforts to foster links between artists, film professionals and organisers in both India and France. How to Reach Delhi
1. By Air: Delhi is well connected by domestic and international flights to all the major cities within and outside India. Almost all the major airlines have their flights operating from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The Domestic Airport connects Delhi to the major cities in India.
2. By Rail: The railway network connects Delhi to all major and nearly all the minor destinations in India. The three important railway stations of Delhi are New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.
3. By Road: Delhi is well connected by a network of roads and national highways with all the major cities in India. The three major bus stands in Delhi are Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminus and Anand Vihar Bus Terminus. Both government and private transport providers run frequent bus services. One can also hire government-run as well as private taxis here.

1. Woolens. Delhi gets very cold in January, with temperatures dipping as low as 5°C.
2. Comfortable footwear such as sneakers.
3. A sturdy water bottle, if the festival has refillable water stations and the venue allows bottles to be taken inside.
4. Medicines. Art fairs are replete with after-parties. If you are bound to do some champagne sipping across several parties in one night, it’s good to have some painkillers for the inevitable hangover.
5. A tote bag, for all those books and brochures you may want to lug back home. Art fairs have great bookstalls with deals on amazing coffee tables and art history books.
6. Cash and cards. It’s always a good idea to carry both in case technology fails us or if you want to avail of cash discounts that bookstalls give on the spot.
7. COVID packs: Hand sanitiser, extra masks and a copy of your vaccination certificate are things you should keep handy.

- Users may face interruptions during the course of the live stream due to internet connectivity issues. Neither Festivals From India nor the Festival Organiser is responsible for such interruptions.
