Himalayan Baithak is a two-night, three-day music and travel gathering held in a riverside valley in Uttarakhand. Organised by Amarrass Records and Sadhana Travel, the experience brings together live music, local food traditions, and nature-based activities within an intimate format.
The programme centres on Qawwali and Kumaoni folk music performances presented in the style of a traditional baithak, where artists and audiences share the same space in an informal setting. The line-up includes performances by Rehmat-e-Nusrat and Himali Mou, alongside sessions with local musicians.
Hosted at Soulitude by the Riverside, the gathering combines music with curated experiences such as farm-to-table meals, Kumaoni cooking sessions, hikes, and music workshops. Activities unfold across the surrounding landscape, including riverside spaces and nearby trails.
Structured as a small-format, immersive gathering, Himalayan Baithak focuses on slow travel and close engagement with music, landscape, and local cultural practices.
