    International Digha Sea Beach Dance Festival is organised by Nabadhara in collaboration with EZCC under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and in association with  Samir Dance Academy. Each day, more than 200 talented dance artists take the stage, captivating audiences with their artistry. This grand event welcomes dance troupes from every region of West Bengal, alongside acclaimed groups from across the nation and around the globe. Anticipated attendance surpasses 6,000 enthusiastic tourists and visitors, all converging for a mesmerising celebration of diverse dance forms and cultural expressions.

    How To Get There

    How To Reach Kolkata

    1. By Air: The Kolkata international airport, better known as the Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, is located at Dumdum. It connects Kolkata with all the major cities of the country as well as the world.

    2. By Rail: The Howrah and Sealdah railway stations are the two major railheads situated in the city. Both these stations are well connected to all the important cities of the country.

    3. By Road: The West Bengal state buses and various private buses travel to and from different parts of the country at a reasonable cost. Some places near Kolkata are Sunderbans (112 km), Puri (495 km), Konark (571 km) and Darjeeling (624 km).

    Nabadhara is a social and cultural organization. Nabadhara was established on August 8, 2018. The main objective of Nabaadhara is to spread the social message through cultural practices. 1.18 October 2018 in the wake up rather famously known Durga Puja nabadhara brought us the most unique event "matri rupayen Sansthita". An event where first time in India mothers are worshiped by the children. 2. We organized for social awareness is the symbolic tree wedding ceremony. First, the ceremony begins with the chanting of Shanti Mantra. The two trees are then symbolically married with the chanting of Vedic mantras to produce children.Along with it, various theories are arranged according to the Bengali matrimonial rituals. Students participated in dance, song and poetry. The main aim of this initiative was to make common people aware of tree killing and tree protection. 3.Navadhara organizes International Beach Dance Festival at Dighat every year to promote Indian heritage, culture, and traditions.Various styles of dance from India and abroad are showcased, including Indian classical dances, regional folk dances. Workshops are organized to give opportunities to local performing artists.4.Apart from this, various workshops including women's self defense training, yoga training, tribal cultural development, village cultural development are also organized. Nabadhara does various social activities throughout the year including food distribution, distribution of clothes, help in natural disaster areas and verious social awareness.
