Maya Bazaar is India’s largest in-person inclusive marketplace, a safe and vibrant space that celebrates diverse identities and empowers communities.
Launched in 2021 by the team at Road to Utopia, a queer feminist DEI consulting firm, Maya Bazaar began as a platform for business owners, artists, and performers from the LGBTQIA+ community to amplify visibility, uplift livelihoods, and create spaces of empathy and respect. Over the years, it has evolved into a festival where queer, DBA, and other marginalised communities, along with allies, showcase their work directly to audiences with love.
This year’s marketplace will feature 150+ stalls by entrepreneurs from diverse communities and allies, alongside performances by 50+ artists on the Maya Manch, including drag, dance, and music. A highlight will be a headline act by Wild Wild Women, India’s first all-woman hip hop collective.
With previous editions in Goa, Shimla, and Bangalore, Maya Bazaar continues to grow as a cultural movement that merges community, creativity, and commerce.
