Community Design Agency (CDA) is a Mumbai-based design studio with an experienced team of architects, engineers, business professionals, community planners, place-makers and artists. Established in 2017, CDA aims to democratise access to architecture and design by working alongside marginalised communities to reimagine and improve their homes, neighbourhoods, and workspaces, consequently impacting key humanitarian indicators including climate resilience, financial and social inclusion, gender equity, health and well-being. Its recent and ongoing projects include slum redevelopment, revitalising public housing neighbourhoods and designing safe and healthy spaces to work for informal and migrant labourers.
