FilmyBees Cine Club is a passionate, community-driven initiative founded by cinema lovers Aditya Raj and Gary Panjabi. Built on the belief that cinema has the power to connect, heal, and transform, the club celebrates films that go beyond the mainstream – focusing on independent voices, experimental narratives, and stories that are often underrepresented. Since its inception, FilmyBees Cine Club has curated monthly screenings, both physical and virtual, across genres including queer cinema, horror, thrillers, and more. Whether it’s a one-minute short or a feature-length masterpiece, every film is chosen for its craft, emotion, and ability to spark conversation. Each screening is followed by insightful Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, allowing audiences to engage deeply with the creative minds behind the stories.

What sets FilmyBees apart is its commitment to building a platform for independent filmmakers. Through its flagship festivals like Colors of Love – Queer Film Festival, Dekho Film Festival, and Dark Scream Film Festival, the club offers filmmakers not just a screen, but a stage – to be seen, heard, and appreciated. The club’s YouTube series ‘Filmmakers Voice’ showcases exclusive interviews with creators, while the ‘Audience’s Lens’ captures real-time festival experiences. With over 100 films screened in its first year, FilmyBees Cine Club has quickly become a vibrant hub for indie cinema in India.
