The Genesis Foundation has been working for the welfare of children diagnosed with a congenital heart defect for two decades. The Foundation was started in 2001 by Prema and Joy Sagar who decided to help those in need after losing their second-born to the disease.

It works closely with families and guardians with a monthly income of less than Rs 15,000 to provide timely and the best available treatment.
