Established in 2018, KCC is a unit of the Anamika Kala Sangam Trust, a not-for-profit public trust that promotes research and experimentation, and champions inclusivity and accessibility at the interface of the arts and the larger society. We encourage a multidisciplinary approach in the pursuit of creative and cultural practices, and our aim is to build an empathetic, optimistic, and informed community through well-curated programmes. We are trans-local in spirit, and encourage the cross-pollination of ideas and creativity across borders. KCC's work falls under 7 verticals. The KCC Arts Fellowship is our scholarship programme where we support 4 fellows annually. The KCC Arts Lab that aims to support the multidisciplinary art creation of traditional and contemporary forms by young artists. The KCC DEAI which stands for Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusivity focuses exclusively on the application of art for the development and empowerment of marginalised people and differently-abled persons through self-expression and creativity. KCC BLUE (or Build, Learn, Upgrade, Empower) is our training and capacity-building platform. Through well-curated programmes and appreciation courses we expose a wide range of participants to different disciplines of art and craft practices. KCC Connect - this is an inclusive space to have participants and audiences from all sections of society engage and create new connections. KCC EAP is an inclusive space for budding performers to present their ongoing work before a live audience. KCC also has a digital publishing platform Articulate.
