Synchrony is a global creative arts therapy organisation that creates community and clinical health spaces for therapy, education, and research. Working at the intersection of mental health, embodied practice, and the arts, it is rooted in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) and other expressive arts modalities.
Led by Devika Mehta Kadam (R-DMP) and Tarana Khatri (R-DMP), Synchrony facilitates therapy sessions, workshops, and community programs that integrate movement, visual arts, drama, music, and other expressive practices to support emotional exploration and wellbeing. Their work draws on psychological frameworks, embodied practices, and research-informed approaches to engage diverse communities across ages and abilities.
Synchrony is supporting the organisation of the Mumbai Arts and Health Festival and serves as the knowledge partner of this festival. This festival is inspired by the international Global South Arts and Health movement, in collaboration with the Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship.
