The Odisha Design Council (ODC), which was set up in 2018, is a social not-for-profit organisation with a mission to implement the traditional design practices of Odisha in modern design domains. ODC, which believes in creating social impact through its design methodologies, aims to spread awareness and education through extensive research and skill training. It plans to conduct design events and activities across Odisha to promote the state as the hub of design that meets global industry standards. Odisha Design Week is one such endeavour.
