Shreyasi is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in New Delhi. She began her formal training at the age of seven under Guru Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan, Padma Bhushan awardee. At fifteen, she joined the Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai, and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Bharatanatyam after six years of intensive study, later continuing her artistic journey under eminent Gurus.
In 2014, she founded the Shreyasi Gopinath Dance Academy, mentoring young and emerging dancers while actively pursuing choreography and performance. In October 2022, she was deputed by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, as Head of the Cultural Centre at the Consulate General of India in Réunion Island, France. She presented the opening solo recital during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Paris for the Bastille Day Parade.
Her performances span prestigious platforms, including the 51st Khajuraho Dance Festival, Namaste France Festival, ICCR tours to Mexico and China, Lauksnos Festival, Siam University, Sangeet Natak Akademi, The Music Academy Spirit of Youth, Soorya Festival, and Cuttack Mahotsav. A Ministry of Culture scholarship holder, she is a graded Doordarshan artist.
