Kolkata-based The Creative Arts, which was founded as a theatre institution in Kolkata, diversified into a full-fledged arts academy in 2020. The academy provides training in departments such as writing, communication, theatre, creative movement, dance and music. Its other projects include the play Beyond Borders presented by its all-women theatre group, which was established by founder-director Ramanjit Kaur in 2012 with women from all walks of life with a desire to learn theatre. Among the festivals organised by The Creative Arts Academy are its flagship event Dramebaazi – International Arts Festival for the Young; the Youth Clicks film festival; and Inner Rhythm: Dance for Health Festival.
