The Next Act by the Little Theatre Group is a new theatre festival that celebrates the power of performance art and storytelling. The inaugural edition is curated for innovation, bringing together a select number of plays and workshops by emerging visionary theatre-makers who are pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre. Working in experimental spaces, these artists are at the forefront of reimagining how stories are told on stage.
Placing a strong emphasis on new-age performances that resonate with today’s generation, each play and workshop is thoughtfully designed to explore theatre that speaks directly to contemporary audiences, offering a fresh perspective on what it means to engage with art. Set to debut at the Blank Canvas, LTG’s renowned black-box theatre space, the The Next Act festival features four plays, workshops and an immersive multimedia installation.
