South Side Story
South Side Story is a cultural extravaganza that celebrates South Indian Heritage in Mumbai and Delhi. Organised by Team Red FM, this event showcases the essence of South India through live performances by renowned contemporary artists. These artists traverse genres encompassing rap, folk, rock and pop, offering a rich tapestry of musical experience. The music festival will connect the South of India to the North of India through some incredible music, craft, and art forms.
At South Side Story, immerse yourself in all things South Indian. Chandanam on your forehead, Chenda Vadyams in the backdrop, life-sized rangolis and a marigold-adorned stage set the scene. Apart from contemporary music, the festival also features a lipsmacking food fare and craft stalls. The festival will be held in Delhi from 31 August – 01 September 2024 at KD Jadhav Indoor Hall.

How to Reach Delhi
1. By Air: Delhi is well connected by domestic and international flights to all the major cities within and outside India. Almost all the major airlines operate their flights from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
2. By Rail: The railway network connects Delhi to all the major and nearly all the minor destinations in India. The three important railway stations of Delhi are New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.
3. By Road: Delhi is well connected by a network of roads and national highways with all the major cities in India. The three major bus stands in Delhi are Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminus and Anand Vihar Bus Terminus. Both government and private transport providers run frequent bus services. One can also hire government-run as well as private taxis here.

Items to Carry
1. August-end/ September in Delhi marks the end of the monsoon season, with receding monsoon showers and temperatures ranging between approximately 28C to 32C. Make sure you carry loose, cotton, airy clothes with long sleeves to tackle the shifting weather.
2. Sandals, flip flops, sneakers (perfect option if it’s not likely to rain) or boots (but make sure they are worn in). You need to keep those feet tappin’. On that note, carry a bandana or a scrunchie to avoid tressy accidents with your fellow festival-goers.
3. A sturdy water bottle, if the festival has refillable water stations.
4. COVID packs: Hand sanitiser, extra masks and a copy of your vaccination certificate are things you should keep handy.
