International Association for Performing Arts and Research (IAPAR)
A network of artists and arts professionals
The International Association for Performing Arts and Research (IAPAR) is a network of artists and arts professionals seeking to exchange ideas and increase opportunities within the arts community. IAPAR, which was established in 2013, works in four areas: performances, performing arts education, research and festivals. Currently, it has three monodramas, one duo performance, two contemporary movement performances and one performance for children in its repertoire of productions. Within education, IAPAR offers learning programmes for children as well as adults, which vary from two-day introductory workshops to three-month-long mentorships.
It has designed the theatre curriculum for schools and also helps prepare students for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) certification exams. In 2016, it launched its flagship event, the IAPAR International Theatre Festival.
