A non-profit committed to enabling vulnerable groups to access their rights
Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action or YUVA, founded in 1984, is committed to enabling vulnerable groups to access their rights. The Mumbai-based non-profit encourages the formation of people’s collectives that engage in the discourse on development. It aims to ensure self-determined and sustained collective action in communities.
The development organisation works to deliver solutions on issues of housing, livelihood, environment and governance. Through research, it creates knowledge that enhances capacity building. Currently, YUVA operates in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and New Delhi.
