South Asia Festivals & Culture Academy in association with British Council is now accepting applications for its Intermediate Level program. This 10-week online course, offered in collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University, presents a unique opportunity to attain international recognition in festival and arts management. Participants will have the chance to expand their career horizons and establish valuable connections within the festival and arts administration field, both in South Asia and the United Kingdom.
16mm Film Festival
The 16mm Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for its 7th edition in 2023. The festival is dedicated to showcasing celluloid-based work, encompassing formats like 8mm, 16mm and 35mm. This year’s festival marks the centennial of 16mm, known as the artist’s format, paying tribute to its inherent tangibility, texture and the artistry and craftsmanship involved in its creation. Artistic and personal explorations are welcome, including experimental, narrative, music videos, travelogues and found footage, from diverse cultural, historical, and visual contexts.
The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia is accepting applicants for Synergies: Support for research-based programmes in art, science and technology. The Open Call encourages collaborative programmes “that spark new approaches, methodologies and connect knowledge from different contexts”.
