EcoReels Film Festival

EcoReels Film Festival

The 16th edition of EcoReels film festival, presented by Kriti Film Club as part of EcoFestival, embarks on a cinematic odyssey to spotlight Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development. Through film screenings and discussions spanning fiction, documentaries, shorts, and animation, the festival illuminates themes of environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation.

With a focus on preserving ecosystems and indigenous knowledge, EcoReels showcases narratives of communities safeguarding their land and wildlife. From poignant documentaries to inspiring narratives, the festival curates diverse perspectives from across the country, stimulating dialogue and action for a sustainable future.

Complementing the films are ecoArtWorkshops, inviting participants of all ages to recycle and upcycle materials into utility and gifting items, fostering a culture of conservation. Additionally, ecoHaat offers a marketplace for handmade, eco-friendly products, supporting sustainable livelihoods and empowering conscientious consumption. EcoReels and its ancillary events not only entertain but also educate and empower, fostering a deeper connection to the planet and promoting tangible steps towards environmental responsibility.
